Real Lives of Superheroes

Who doesn't love a good superhero photo shoot? Photographer Gregg Segal followed the men and women who parade outside Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood who dress up, day in and day out, in superhero outfits. His mission? To highlight the contrast of the fantastic and mundane. The results are amusing to say the least.

“They are superheroes because the people believe they are. Once in their homes, it is a mundane life that it's no wonder they return to the glam of Hollywood,” says Segal.
