THE WEEKEND EXPERIENCE – ART+CULTURE: The Nature of Things to Come

Opening Reception: September 5, 8pm-11:30pm @ CoproGallery: Santa Monica

You may have seen Dan May's dreamlike paintings in Alice post earlier this week. If you find yourself in Los Angeles this weekend, you can check out his artwork in person at CoproGallery in Santa Monica.

His exhibit, “The Nature of Things To Come”, is a continued exploration of a world parallel to our own with haunting landscapes and moments that appear to be suspended in time. Based on his personal observations, his images focus on the relationship between humans and nature, blended with a healthy dose of whimsy, fantasy and cautious relevance.

“The Nature of Things To Come” will run until September 26th, 2009, with the opening reception on September 5th, 8pm-11:30pm.
