Tour Metropolitan Home’s "Modern by Design" Showhouse in SF

If you're in San Francisco, please tell me that you'll visit Metropolitan Home's first modern design showhome in San Francisco. Metropolitan Home partnered with top designers to create the ultimate house in San Francisco's exclusive Pacific Heights neighborhood. The design team includes Martha Angus, David Olydroyd, and Greg Steart of ODADA, Min | Day, Jiun Ho, Gary Hutton, Jay Jeffers, Dowling Kimm Studios, Nicole Hollis, Erin Martin, Steven Miller, Phillip Parton, Sand Studios, and Surfacedesign. The project updates a historic 7,000 square-foot home, outfitting it with the latest technologies and cutting-edge modern design. Each designer was given the creative license to apply his or her vision to a room. Public tours are held on the weekends and cost $25 which goes toward The San Francisco Ballet. If anything, you'll get some great design ideas for your home! Address: 2201 Baker Street at Jackson Street, San Francisco Dates/Times: Now-July 12, 2009; from 10am-4pm; weekends only. Tickets: Tickets can also be purchased at the door or via PayPal. For some preview pictures, check out Casa Sugar. Metropolitan Home
