Strolling Through One Second of Every Travel Destination

Think you have the travel bug? Over a course of 44 days, independent filmmaker Rick Mereki and a couple of his buddies visited not one or two countries but an astounding eleven of them! By splicing together one second of footage from each location, Mereki created the ultimate piece of memorabilia, an amazing video flipbook titled Move. If this doesn’t make you want pack your bags and hop on a plane, I don’t know what else will.
“3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage, all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films,” says Mereki. “= a trip of a lifetime.”

You can view his other two films, Eat and Learn, below.
