Apple’s New Spaceship Headquarters

Last week, Apple briefly surpassed Exxon Mobil to become the world's most valuable company. Although it may have been for a temporary amount of time, no one can question how far Steve Jobs' tech company has come. With such tremendous growth, Apple is planning to upgrade its digs once again. Architecture firm Foster + Partners designed the hoop-shaped office building, which will be located a few blocks away from Apple's existing headquarters.

Bali Resort Perched Over the Indian Ocean

Designed by Singapore-based architecture firm Woha, the award-winning Alila Villas Uluwatu Resort is located on the southern coastline of the Bukit Peninsula in Bali, close to an ideal area for surfing. The resort has 52 one bedroom villas along with 5 cliff-side three bedroom villas and 25 private villas, each with its own pool and private pavilion perched above the Indian Ocean.

Spectacular Underwater Bedroom in Maldives

Sleeping underwater amongst marine life is something many of us could only daydream about. For some lucky travelers, this dream has now turned into a reality. A little over five years ago, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island opened the very first undersea restaurant. To celebrate their anniversary, the restaurant offered guests the chance to not only eat under the sea, but sleep under it as well.

Glass House Surrounded by Nature

London-based architects firm PCKO collaborated with Poland-based MOFO Architects to create this stunning glass house that's located smack dab in the middle of nature. The fully-glazed steel frame structure, suspended above site, preserves the existing natural environment and offers beautiful panoramic views of the distant Tatra Mountains.
