Detailed Floor Plan Drawings of Popular TV and Film Homes

If you've ever wondered what the layout of your favorite fictional character's apartment looked like, interior designer Iaki Aliste Lizarralde may have hand drawn exactly what you're looking for. The Spain-based artist, who also goes by nikneuk, has colorfully illustrated a number of aerial diagrams mapping out the layout of popular TV and film homes for his Floorplans series.

Real Life LEGO Hotel is Every Kid’s Dream Come True

Playing with LEGOs is such fun, but getting to stay in a real-life LEGO hotel!? It's every kid's (and some parents') dream come true! This LEGO-themed hotel is located at LEGOLAND in Carlsbad, California, and it is scheduled to open on April 5, 2013. The 250-room hotel stands three stories high and features a large amount of colorful figures and sculptures, built completely out of LEGOs.

Modern Backyard Office Shaped Like a Cresting Wave

Shoffice (Shed + Office) is a design developed by London-based firm Platform 5 Architects. The structure, shaped like a cresting wave, is located in the backyard of a 1950's terraced house in St. John's Wood. The timber shape was designed as a reflection of a wood shaving, which fits well into the natural surroundings, and it curls around to form a small terrace in front of the enclosed building.
