Surreal Blossoming Head Sculptures Made of Wax

London-based artist Rebecca Stevenson creates figurative sculptures that blossom into surreal structures. Her multimedia figures, primarily constructed out of wax, incorporate floral motifs. The artists produces realistic renderings of heads paired with unconventional patterns and colors that burst out from the temple of her bodiless subjects. Stevenson transforms her sculpted heads into intriguingly abstract structures by crinkling and flowering out the resin rather than simply encasing the structure.
