Fantastical Insect Women by Laurent Seroussi

Photographer and graphic designer Laurent Seroussi combined the beauty of the human female form with fascinating, symmetrical, and leggy bug bodies in this project entitled Insectes. The fantasy creations incorporate sleek female figures blending with the bodies of insects in extremely realistic and well-photoshopped depictions. According to his bio, “Laurent Seroussi's multifaceted imagery brings together his background in both graphic design and moving imagery.

Glittering Fashion Illustrations by Katie Rodgers

Pretty watercolor paintings come alive on the page with the help of artist Katie Rodgers. Commissioned by companies such as Kate Spade and Coach, Rodgers has turned her childhood love for watercolors into a full-time career. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Industrial Design, she worked in apparel design at Reebok, and illustrated on the side, until she was able to illustrate exclusively, which was only back in January 2012.

Dazzling Pen Portraits by Josh Bryan

While at first glance these stunning black and white portraits look like they were created in Illustrator, you'd be surprised to find out they're actually pen drawings. 20-year-old England-based artist Josh Bryan has a set called Triangulations where he's taken some well-known celebrities – like Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein, Helen Bonham Carter, and Johnny Knoxville – and created their likeness in abstract, geometric form. Hundreds of tiny triangles make up each face. Love love love.

Billowing Tire Sculptures Address Global Pollution

Tel Aviv-based artist Gal Weinstein replicates a number of burning tires emitting heaps of billowing smoke in the aptly titled series Fire Tires. Each sculpture, which reaches up to a height of 4 meters, is made of wax, carved to look like tires, accompanied by various skillfully crafted components to mimic the thick, swirling smoke rising into the air.
