Amazing Canned Food Sculptures

Check out these amazing sculptures! Made entirely out of different canned food brands, these pieces are all part of the 19th annual Canstruction, a huge food drive and art event. Over 100,000 cans were used to create these magnificent sculptures, with figures inspired everything from the Titanic and Angry Birds to even Lady Gagas' shoes.

Meticulous Installation of 10,000 Toy Soldiers in Perfect Formation

Brooklyn-based artist Francis Hollenkamp created an art installation comprised of 10,000 little green and brown plastic toy soldiers! The miniature military forces are lined up evenly into squared rows and columns, separated by weapon of choice. Hollenkamp's intention with this piece is to present a visual representation of a large group that is usually an abstract figure in our minds.

Eerily Emerging Cut Outs

Artist Miss Bugs has created some fascinating new cut out prints as part of her “Cut Out + Fade Out” series found in London. The images seem to eerily emerge from the environment they've been placed into and blend in well with the background, meeting up with specific lines and colors. When seen in the studio before their installation, the pieces look unfinished. It becomes clear that the environment drastically compliments these pieces.
