Giant House of Cards Sculpture

Auckland-based designer Fletcher Vaughan believes that the second half of the 20th century was a wild party, full of gas-guzzling cars, cheap energy, and vast personal wealth from a booming economy. Fast forward to today and we are waking up to a nasty hangover, facing the consequences of last night's excess. To represent the the precarious balancing act we are performing with our planet, he created this giant house of cards installation titled Collapse.

Embroidered Book Covers

For two months, Illustrator and cartoonist Jillian Tamaki worked on a very cool project with Penguin Classics. She hand embroidered three literary classics in her signature style! (The covers actually wrap around and include french flaps.) Epic Dinner Table Adventures

Ben Cort doesn't need to go outside to find adventure. Like a mad scientist, he brings his vivid Dreams to life right on top of his dinner table at home. The elaborate sets include a pirate ship getting swallowed by a giant octopus, a lush forest reminiscent of the show “LOST,” volcanoes surrounded by mysterious smoke, and a radioactive, florescent green swamp.
