Playful Furniture Design Looks Like a Giant Comfortable Birdsnest

Israel-based Merav (Salush) Eitan and Gaston Zahr of OGE Creative Group were inspired by the structure of a bird's nest to develop this large, playful reclining space. Called Giant Birdsnest for Creating New Ideas, the circular wooden structure is filled with soft, egg-shaped pillows and is intended to function as a “fusion of furniture and playground.

Innovative Kids Room Features Hammock Seating and Modular Furniture

When the studio Ruetemple created a room in a Russian home meant for a young brother and sister, they didn't take a conventional approach to the design. The two-storey space, called Interior for Students, needed to be a place for the kids to study, sleep, and hang out with their friends. So, architects Alexander Kudimov and Daria Butahina filled it with some fun details like a mezzanine hammock and a moveable cube.

Innovative Disappearing Bed Design Expands Living Space

For anyone looking to maximize on a small amount of living space, this innovative bed design is the perfect solution! Architects Julie Nabucet and Marc Baillargeon teamed up to convert a tiny 130-square-foot space into a functional apartment for a student living in Paris. They used every bit of space in the room–formerly a master bathroom of a larger apartment–to maximize on both efficiency as well as modern style.
