Artist Creates Tiny Terrariums with Paper Plants Small Enough to Hold on Your Fingertip

If you’re one of those people who just can’t seem to keep real plants alive, then you might be interested in these teeny-tiny paper flowers and plants crafted by artist Raya Sader Bujana. Measuring less than two inches tall, these Tiny Terrariums encased in miniature glass vessels can be held on the tips of your fingers. Inspired by nature and her background in architecture, Bujana carefully hand-cuts each paper sculpture.

150 People Attempt to Draw World’s Famous Logos Completely From Memory

Can you remember what the IKEA logo looks like? Could you draw the Starbucks mermaid without peeking? That’s the challenge that Signs.com gave to 156 Americans. In half an hour’s time, they were asked to recreate 10 famous company logos completely from memory. “Living” Chandelier Made with Algae-Filled Leaves Naturally Purifies the Air

Design engineer and biotechnologist Julian Melchiorri—who first gained attention by creating the first synthetic biological leaf—recently came up with an ingenious lighting design that is as beautiful as it is eco-friendly. His “living” chandelier Exhale, purifies air while lighting up your room and was on display at the V&A Museum during the London Design Festival. The green lighting piece is composed of 70 glass leaves filled with green algae, which absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.
