Illustrator Serves Up Delicious Food Puns in Amusing Series of Greeting Cards

Brooklyn-based illustrator Merrily Grashin is serving up some delicious puns in her witty series of greeting cards. Featuring a variety of hand-drawn foods, drinks, and kitchen utensils, she pairs them with clever and punny sentiments. Although simple in their artistic execution, these one-liners are sure to make you–and your recipient–crack a smile.

Grashin created the amusing line of cards after her collection of “bad pun doodles became too big to contain.” After narrowing them down, she now covers many topics and occasions, from birthdays to love to “save the date.”

Each card is reproduced through the letterpress printing process, giving them an elegant, embossed feel. They are currently for sale through Grashin's online shop called Greet'n'Potatoes, and she plans on adding more of these punn-licious designs in the future.
