Incredible New Floats at Zundert Flower Parade 2013

On the first Sunday of September, the small town of Zundert in the south of Netherlands came alive as it hosted the largest flower parade in the world. Corso Zundert has become known worldwide as a grandiose event that takes over the streets with gigantic floats all made with flowers. Thousands of spectators, both young and old, came out to witness the twenty amazing dahlia creations.

Incredible Bronze Hand Sculptures by Bruce Nauman

Fifteen Pairs of Hands is a sculptural installation by artist Bruce Nauman featuring 15 white bronze sculptures of dismembered hands frozen in various positions. Each piece is presented atop its own steel base coated in white paint as a set of disembodied hands interacting with one another. Nauman's fascination with hands and the various forms they can take on is evident through the installation as each pair performs unique gestures.

Painted Gradients Create Shocking Illusions of Space

These everyday scenes don't seem that exciting until the actual behind-the-scenes process is revealed. In his work, London-based photographer Benedict Morgan creates all kinds of optical illusions. This series, entitled Painted Stripes, features two photographs that will have viewers automatically assuming digital manipulation. However, in reality, Morgan actually painted each set in order to challenge his viewer's typical understanding of space.
