Berlin Wall Gets Street Art Makeover

The Wende Museum in Culver City, California has an incredible exhibition called Behind the Wall. It features a mural on remnants from the original Berlin Wall that fell in 1989. The first to leave their mark was duo Herakut and now D*Face and RETNA have painted their pieces. Each work of art is different but unique to them, which adds to the unity the wall's destruction symbolized.

Impressive LEGO Wall Divider

The genius men at NPIRE, a small agency in Hamburg, Germany have truly stuck to their philosophy: “Work and Live.” It took over a year to complete their LEGO wall divider, and it was definitely worth the precious time and effort. In addition to their daily duties, they worked on this project. Of course, cleaning up the office would have been easier, but that's not living.

Computer Parts World Map Symbolizes Digital Future

Susan Stockwell up-cycles with intense ingenuity. The parts the UK-based artist uses for each piece adds to the message she attempts to relay to the world. World is a giant world map made from recycled computer parts commissioned by the University of Bedfordshire. What began in 2010 is now completed with motherboards, electrical wiring, fans and other components donated by the people at Secure IT Recycling.

McDonald’s Cracking Breakfast Billboard

Ad agency Leo Burnett amazes us once again with their ingenuity. The impressive McDonald's billboard we previously covered featured an “M” sundial. This time we've discovered a giant egg! It was installed across from Wrigley Field in Chicago. The egg is not the most impressive part, however, this is: The egg starts cracking during the wee hours of the morning.
