Moving Shadow Art

On the front of a model train running around a darkened room is a small, lit-up LED light. As the train moves slowly along its route, small and large objects are projected onto the walls and ceiling. Due to the movement of the light source, the shadows of the stationary objects appear to move, leaving viewers with the impression that they are passengers riding on the train (watch video, below).

Located in Warsaw, Poland, the 6,100 sq. ft. home features movable concrete walls that can literally be opened or closed according to the needs of its residents.

Psychedelic Room that Swallows Human Beings

Japanese artist Yosuke Goda creates living, breathing rooms that swallow human beings. Armed with black markers, Goda has no mercy for the surrounding white walls, floor, and ceiling. A pychedelic organism is born, with a body that looks similar to the roots and vines of an old, tall tree.
