Man Walks All Day to Create Massive Snow Patterns (Part 3)

English artist Simon Beck never ceases to amaze us with his large-scale murals of geometric patterns in snow. Each visually breathtaking piece, which Beck manually creates by walking through the snow and leaving behind his track prints, adds a surreal element to its natural landscape. Walking countless miles on end, the dedicated artist manages to produce startlingly symmetrical and elaborate designs on the soft, white bed of snow that covers acres upon acres of land.

New York-based illustrator Victo Ngai creates captivating illustrations with elaborate narratives. Her unique style features swirls of lines and colors that are alive with energy and movement. In much of her work, Ngai uses a signature palette of oranges, reds, greens, and browns to create the ornate forms that have a traditional feel. There's so much going on in each scene that it's like an organized chaos slowly revealing itself to viewers over time.

625 Handmade Submarines Floating Through the Air

For the first time in 25 years, performance, sculpture, and installation artist Chris Burden is presenting a collection of his work, entitled Extreme Measures, in the United States. As part of the exhibition at the New Museum in New York, Burden installed All the Submarines of the United States of America, filling a room with 625 hand-painted cardboard submarines that are suspended from the ceiling at varying lengths.
