Artist Andrew Myers has found his niche with 3D screw art. For years, we’ve marveled over the incredible, Pointillist-esque pieces that use thousands of screws to form life-like portraits and surreal imagery. Painted Ceramic Sculptures Double as Eccentric Vases and Cups

Artist Irina Zaytceva works with clay to craft elegant vessels—but with a distinct twist. Going beyond conventional cups and vases, she adds wings, thick vines, and coral structures that seemingly sprout from the side of the porcelain sculptures. They offer a whole new meaning to Zaytceva’s surface decorations, which are soft, dreamy portraits of people and nymph-like creatures. With the additions, these characters are suddenly taking flight or diving under the sea.

Photographer Explores Concept of Vanity By Placing Mirrors in Isolated Scenes of Nature

In his striking series titled Vanity, self-taught photographer Murray Fredericks places a mirror in otherwise undisturbed scenes of nature. As a conceptual twist on traditional landscape photography, the series plays with reflections to offer unexpected and unexplored perspectives. In Vanity, Fredericks repeatedly introduces a simple, square mirror to the barren, nearly dried up terrain of Australia's Lake Eyre. The images don't offer traditionally idyllic natural settings.
