The Mysterious Man Writing On Water

The Man Writing On Water is a sculptural installation by Belgium-based artist Jan Fabre that leaves much to be defined by its audience. The display features seven siliconed bronze sculptures of seemingly golden bathtubs, one of which has an equally metallic man seated in it with his index finger having just grazed the surface of the water that he is waist-deep in.

Giant Raindrop Rests on Sculpture’s Face

Ukrainian artist Nazar Bilyk created this stunning 6-foot tall sculpture called “Rain” using bronze and glass. A huge raindrop stands suspended on the figure's face as he looks up toward the sky. The work has several meanings including representing man's delicate relationship with nature. As Bilyk explains to us, “The name of the work is ‘Rain,' which seems clear and obvious at first glance. However, it is quite broad and has several meanings.

Adorable Illustrations of Random Words

As a way to strengthen his brain muscles, concept artist and illustrator Charles Santoso decided he would a start a project called Daily Random Word Doodles. Every day, he asks his Twitter followers to give him a word and then he picks the very first one submitted. He then spends anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half creating a digital interpretation of that word.

Giant Shoes Made of Pots, Pans, and Lids

Paris-born, Lisbon-based artist Joana Vasconcelos takes everyday objects and transforms them into life-size replicas of high-heel sandals in her aptly titled series Shoes. Each towering shoe is constructed out of dozens of stainless steel pots, pans, and lids of varying sizes.
