Meet Banye, the Adorably Surprised Cat

Following in the footsteps (or paw prints) of Grumpy Cat and Angry Cat, this Surprised Cat is ready to join the ranks of internet feline royalty. Banye, an 11-year-old British Shorthair from China, has a perpetual look of surprise thanks to a patch of dark fur strategically grown beneath his mouth. The startled kitty has started to achieve online fame after his owner, Shanghai-based winnnie, posted photos of him on the Pinterest-like site Duitang.

Creative Digital Paintings Blend Mechs Into Early 20th-Century Polish Villages

1920+ is an amazing collection of digital paintings created by Germany-based conceptual artist Jakub Rzalski. In each piece, the artist produced a creative narrative of historical fiction. He used Photoshop to blend large, fictional walking war machines, or mechs, into rural climates from early 20th-century Polish villages. The results involve the confusing placement of advanced modern technology concepts into unlikely scenarios.

Colorful Glass House Sculpture Dazzles in New York

Check out those rainbow reflections! For this year's DUMBO Arts Festival, artist Tom Fruin and performance duo CoreAct presented a collaborative project called Reflection / Kolonihavehus in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Fruin's colorful plexiglass house, called Kolonihavehus, was on display. In previous years, the outdoor sculpture had been shown throughout Europe, such as in Sweden, Denmark, Austria and the Czech Republic. New York had already seen one of Fruin's pieces, the monumental sculpture, Watertower.

Stormy Clouds Roll Like Ocean Waves Across the Sky

Earlier in July, storm chaser Alex Schueth captured a mesmerizing time-lapse of undulatus asperatus clouds rolling over Lincoln, Nebraska during a storm. The rare cloud formation, whose name means “roughened or agitated waves,” looks like a sea of dark and stormy waters churning ominously in the sky. According to Weather.
