Hyperrealistic Balancing Elephant

My fondness for hyperrealistic art led me to this strangely mesmerizing sculpture by French contemporary artist Daniel Firman. Exhibited back in 2008, this life-size piece was seen at the Fontainebleau Castle in Paris, France. Called Wursa, the sculpture is balancing on its trunk 18,000 km above the earth. Firman consulted with a professional taxidermist to construct this piece making it look as real as possible.

Graphic designer and photographer from Finland Mikko Lagerstedt has a rare ability, he knows how to create a mood. Whether he's accentuating the density of fog or shooting a shadowy figure far away in the distance, all of his photos carry with them a dramatic feeling. It's like you're witnessing a spliced scene from an edge-of-your-seat suspense thriller, that crescendo moment before you let out a bone-chilling scream.

Giant Office Supplies! (5 pics)

Property developer Land Securities had a conundrum. It needed to divide up a vast floor space in London so that agents could show prospective tenants that there were four clear and distinct areas for office space. It's safe to assume that most would section off the space with boring signs or makeshift walls.
