Hello, Metropolites! Are you ready for an awesome sweepstakes? This time, we're teaming up with Hyundai's All-New 2011 Elantra to give away some sweet prizes! Starting tomorrow, February 8th and until March 27, 2011 – you'll want to visit My Modern Met regularly to keep an eye out for something “different.”
As you know, we're not just an art and design site, we pride ourselves in being able to spot trends. We don't like following the status quo, we're all about being different, of breaking out of the box.
So, courtesy of the Hyundai Elantra, we're rewarding our community members by giving away four featured prizes that are unique or go against the norm. Here they are:
– WeWood CRONO Black Natural Wood Watch. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $119.
– 13″ Hardback Leather Case for the MacBook Pro. ARV: $80.
– Pratt LED Table Lamp. ARV: $129.
– Harman Kardon SoundSticks II, Plug and Play Multimedia Speaker System. ARV: $125.
How do you win?
If you notice an illustration of the Hyundai Elantra next to the My Modern Met logo at the top of this site, look for a “hidden” blog post. It will feature a picture that does not fit with the others. Post your comment to that post by saying something like: “I Win!” The first person who comments wins!
The sweepstakes spans about a month and a half, so how will you know which days we're going to put up the “hidden picture” posts?
Here are some hints:
+ As mentioned above, on those four days, we'll change out our site's My Modern Met logo, with an updated logo of Hyundai's Elantra parked next to the buildings.
+ We'll feature the “hidden picture” post in the carousel (aka slider at the top of the front page).
+ Follow us on Twitter and Facebook. We'll be changing out our logo (with an illustrated Hyundai Elantra parked next to the buildings) on those sites, too!
In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, we'll award the applicable prize to an alternate winner (the person that posted to the mismatched photograph next in time). Only three (3) alternate winners will be chosen, after which the prize will remain un-awarded.
