A Charmed Childhood – Belle & Boo (10 Total)

Illustrator Mandy Sutcliffe was inspired to create the characters Belle & Boo during a university exchange trip to France. It was there that Mandy's love for illustrating children truly blossomed as she spent many hours in the Parisian parks drawing the beautiful French children. Belle is based on Mandy's own childhood – with her bobbed hair, bright eyes and wearing vintage clothing, she is insistently curious about the world around her.

The Storybook Rug

I love this sweet idea! Ok, so maybe I have baby on the brain but wouldn't this be perfect in a little girl's room? I'm calling this the Storybook rug but it's really called the Pop Up Book rug designed by the Bob Foundation and sold on a Japanese website for 28,000 yen or about $296 (tax included). One side says Once Upon a Time and the other side says Happily Ever After.

Gorgeous Flower Table – Shige Hasegawa

A simple but strikingly beautiful table by Shige Hasegawa, a freelance designer from Tokyo. Called the Hana Table (hana means flower in Japanese), the design of the table makes use of an origami technique, and amazingly, uses only the five plywood legs to hold the glass top. (There are no screws or nails.) The design makes the table easy to disassemble and ideal for shipping. Beautiful, isn't it?
