The Wende Museum in Culver City, California has an incredible exhibition called Behind the Wall. It features a mural on remnants from the original Berlin Wall that fell in 1989. The first to leave their mark was duo Herakut and now D*Face and RETNA have painted their pieces. Each work of art is different but unique to them, which adds to the unity the wall’s destruction symbolized.
The genius men at NPIRE, a small agency in Hamburg, Germany have truly stuck to their philosophy: “Work and Live.” It took over a year to complete their LEGO wall divider, and it was definitely worth the precious time and effort. In addition to their daily duties, they worked on this project. Of course, cleaning up the office would have been easier, but that’s not living.

After visiting Norway and Tel Aviv, the incredible street art duo known as Herakut worked on a mural for the Behind the Berlin Wall exhibition at the Wende Museum in Culver City, California. Their amazing wall piece was done on a remnant of the original Berlin Wall. The German duo takes pride in painting on the remnant because Falk and Jasmine grew up on opposite ends of Berlin.
