Plastic Tree Raises Environmental Awareness

Miha Artnak, the artist behind the brilliant Layers series, has recently finished his newest piece of street art entitiled The Rise of The Fall. Found inf Slovenia, in this piece Artnak covered the branches of a tree with a number of plastic bags that nearly obscure it when observed from a distance.

Singaporeโ€™s Vertical City Building

Have you ever seen a building that looked like it could house a city? Dutch architecture firm UNStudio has just released their design for Scott's Tower which will be in Singapore. The 31-story building will feature 231 apartments that offer impressive views of the surrounding area. The most striking part of the design is the two openings in the buildings facade called Sky Frames.

The Art of Meticulous Disassembly

Artist Todd McLellan has more patience than all of us combined. Meticulously taking apart classic objects such as a typewriter or flip clock, he breaks them down piece by piece and separates them into groups. After he places all the pieces onto a white background with all the parts laid out together, he produces exquisitely detailed images that display the inner mechanics behind the devices. But, the tireless artist did not stop there.

Indoor Jacuzzi Floor

How nice would it be to come home to this? We've all seen the Manhattan townhouse with the indoor pool and now we present an Australian apartment with an indoor jacuzzi! This funky apartment was designed by the creative minds at West Phillips Architects. With the simple use of a winch attached to the ceiling, the user easily pulls the glass cover off the jacuzzi to enjoy a relaxing dip.
