Endless Skyscraper Proposes a Vertical City in a Single Structure

The skyscrapers of the future aren't going to just be buildings, but will function as vertical cities. That's according to SURE Architecture, at least. Endless City is a fascinating proposal that transforms the skyscraper into an upright ecosystem. It's a mixed-use tower that is wrapped in huge ramps that are like streets and connect different areas. This project was designed for the SkyScrapers & SuperSkyscraper Competition where it took home the top prize.

Quebec Vacation Home Features a Private Spa Nestled in the Forest

While a lot of vacation getaways involve travelers migrating from colder to warmer weather, such is not the case with the La Luge house. YH2 Architects designed a structure that's meant as a private sanctuary during the cold winter months. Nestled in a Quebec forest, the beautiful timber home is a convertible space that features sliding doors to divide the rooms and living area according to how many guests there are.

Architect’s Impressive Tree House Design Built by Scout Troops

Tree house designer Baumraum has done it again. This time, the architects created a meeting place for a scout group near Wolfsburg, Germany. That doesn't mean that they built the elevated structure, though. It was actually constructed by the troop of young people on the Almke Campsite, which undoubtedly gave them the opportunity to learn valuable skills.
