Intricate Portrait Stencils Form Lettered Messages

I absolutely love these stenciled artworks by Orticanoodles, the pieces are fantastic! Orticanoodles is a pseudonym for two Italian artists, Wally and Alita. The very active and close artist pair started with handmade posters, moved into street art, and quickly became part of major urban guerrilla campaigns. The team's most recent work, these Stencil on Stencil pieces, are a collection of portraits of famous leaders, TV personalities, celebrities, and artists, combined with intricate stencil techniques.

Layered Landscapes Made of Graphite, Tape, and Resin

LA-based mixed media artist Brooks Shane Salzwedel assembles beautiful natural landscapes, often featuring some form of majestic architecture like bridges and oil drilling towers. The artist primarily works with graphite, tape, and resin to produce these layered images, giving each one a three-dimensional feel. The separation that defines the difference between foreground and background is expressed through a sheet of fogginess.

10,000 Hanging Garments Encourage People to Recycle

Fashion department store Marks & Spencer launched its project called Shwopping, a portmanteau of shopping and swapping, in an effort to recycle clothing and decrease waste. The project, which they refer to as a revolution, seeks to draw attention to the amount of clothing that's discarded every day in the UK and make a conscious effort to reverse this wasteful habit.
