Nature-Infused Human Beings

New York-based artist Matt Wisniewski creates mixed media images that are beautifully refreshing. His digital art collages create a stunning fashion and nature mash-up. The artist manipulates photos he finds on Tumblr to incorporate both the beauty of the human form and the beauty of nature. The surreal visual experiments, currently featured on Wisniewski's own Tumblr entitled Five Minutes to Live, depict a variety of natural elements as an extension of the photos' subjects.

Unbelievable Hyper-Realistic Portraits

We've come across plenty of talented hyper-realistic artists, here on My Modern Met, and yet there's something that stands out about Paul Cadden's intricately detailed paintings and illustrations. His images depict everyday people in everyday situations, but the Scotland native is able to bring to life something more. Though we may not know Cadden's subjects, we have an idea of who these people are and can cultivate a story for each of them.

Extraordinary Brush-Less Paintings

Amy Shackleton, who is only 25-years-old, is a unique artist. While her paintings use tons and tons of paint, she doesn't use paintbrushes to create them! Rather, she squeezes paint onto canvases and then allows the paint to naturally drip. She then rotates the canvas to control the direction of the drips, making her paintings appear natural yet controlled.The subjects of many of her paintings are also quite interesting.

500 Self-Portraits Combined into One Image

Can you believe that you're looking at 500 pictures at once? UK-based artist Tiemen Rapati took it upon himself to download 500 of Flickr user clickflashwhirr's daily self-portraits and combine them into one composite image. This daily self-portrait project has been a common practice amongst photography enthusiasts since it first attracted attention through photographer Noah Kalina's Everyday project.
