Playful Pin-Ups – Tyson McAdoo (10 total)

Tyson McAdoo is one of those artists who's art rides that fine line between naughty and nice. Teetering on impossibly high heels, his modern day pin-ups look like that girl you find impossibly beautiful but are too scared to go near. If McAdoo's style looks familiar, it's because he's an on-air designer for Cartoon Network, working on kids drawings by day and adult drawings at night.

Mario’s Wardrobe Worries – Glen Brogan

What a fantastic new piece from artist Glen Brogan! Just what should Mario put on today? Guess it depends on his every-changing mood… Per Glen, “I wanted to include as many of his power-ups as possible, but the main rule I had to follow was that I couldn't include things that actually transform Mario himself rather that just changing his wardrobe, like the Boo mushroom from Mario Galaxy that turns him into a ghost.

Superhero Nursing Home (4 pics)

Looks like our favorite superheroes have finally grown old. Now, instead of flying around, taking down bad guys, and saving the world, they're spending their last few days at a nursing home made for Superheroes. Electric Bookcase by Airan Kang (3 pics + video)

I guess this is one way to light up a room… This bright neon art installation named “109 Lighting Books” was created by Airan Kang. The glow-in-the-dark bookcase changes color and is part of the group exhibition “Textual Landscapes” at the Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery in New York City. Although I can't really see how this piece would fit in at a home, it does provide a cool effect.
