Controversial Modern Art – Device to Root Out Evil

No, this picture isn't upside down. “Device to Root Out Evil” was designed by American artist Dennis Oppenheim, and is a sculpture of what looks to be an upside-down church. The steeple, usually piercing the sky in its lunge toward heaven, is now at ground level, pursuing with vigor, the demons of the deep.

Magnificent Modern Murals by El Mac

El Mac (or The Mac) is a Los Angeles born artist who's been studying art since childhood. He draws inspiration from LA's Mexican and Chicano culture as well as from pin-up and religious art. We love his photorealistic depiction of women and how uses color. Creating unique and one-of-a-kind murals and graffiti, he's been commissioned to paint all across the US as well as in France, Denmark and Mexico.

Dance Bot Chris Appelhans is a young artist and illustrator who's drawn everything from Coraline to Monster House. He creates honest, simple and innocent drawings that bring out our childhood memories.
