Time and time again, Disney-inspired designers have proven pop culture's influence on contemporary fashion. From glamorous gown illustrations to classic yet creative makeup looks, fashion-forward creatives often look to Disney's beloved characters and films for inspiration. Oscar Tiye, a high-end Italian shoe brand, is the latest label to embrace this trend with its new line of magical Minnie Mouse shoes. Designed by Amina Muaddi and undoubtedly inspired by Disneyland's iconic caps, each stylish shoe is adorably adorned with its own set of silhouetted mouse ears on its heel.

Beautiful Tattoos Look Like Sketches Inspired by Geometric Symbols and Old Engravings

The graphic, abstract work of London tattoo artist Mowgli is instantly recognizable. By using seemingly scientific symbols, with delicate linework and dotting, and mixing it with figurative sketches, he's carved a unique path for himself in the tattoo world. Japanese Woodblock Prints Reimagined as Quirky Contemporary Tattoos

Toulouse-based tattoo artist Maxime Gautron—better known as Brindi—boasts an eclectic ink oeuvre. With an interest in Japanese woodblock prints, he predominantly creates contemporary and cartoon-like Japanese style tattoos. Each inked work of art by Brindi cleverly combines art of the past with modern-day trends and interests. Many of his Japanese tattoos portray a likeness to traditional Ukiyo-e woodblock prints.
