Wearable Device Allows Long-Distance Loved Ones to Feel Each Other’s Heartbeat in Real-Time

Joanna Montgomery (of design company Little Riot) wants to help loved ones feel connected even when they're separated by considerable distances. To do so, she designed the Pillow Talk–a wearable device that uses a sensor to capture your heartbeat and then play it through a speaker for your loved one to hear/feel. Using a smartphone, two Pillow Talk devices can be paired together so couples can listen to each other's heartbeats in real-time.
