Popular Liquor Bottles Become Baby Bottles

While turning popular liquor bottles into baby bottles is nothing short of shocking, when it's done like this one can't help but silently laugh. Yes, it's all kinds of wrong and we definitely do not suggest that you run out and buy a pacifier to replace your bottle cap but we do ask that you sit back and enjoy this creative series by Italy-based Anna Utopia Giordano called POPBottles.

Ultramodern ZERO Personal Helicopter

Created by designer Hector del Amo, the ZERO helicopter is a new take on the idea of personal transportation. While I'm unsure of how well this design could be translated into the real world, I'm enjoying the concept and design.

Illuminated Paper Blowing in the Wind

Bourrasque, by London-based designer Paul Cocksedge, is meant to represent a large collection of papers blowing away in the wind. Made for France's City of Lyon's annual Festival of Lights, each sheet of “paper” is made from a special conductive material that lights up when a current is passed through it. All are the exact size of a standard piece of printer paper and were formed by hand to obtain their dynamic shapes.

Elegant Elastic Cord Christmas Tree

We've seen a lot of creative Christmas trees this holiday season and here's another. Studio Roso made the V&A Christmas Tree 2011 as a part of an ongoing series of winter commissions. It currently graces the Victoria and Albert Museum in London with its beauty. The “tree” is made of 3.3 miles of elastic cord and reaches over 4 meters high.
