Man Takes Silhouetted Selfies in Breathtaking Landscapes

Alberta, Canada-based landscape photographer Paul Zizka has embarked on a new way to capture the absolutely breathtaking natural environment that surrounds him in the Canadian Rockies. Instead of simply snapping shots of the environment, the photographer prepares his camera on its tripod, sets the timer, and quickly runs into the shot for a spectacular selfie.

Photographer Takes on Multiple Roles in Creative Self-Portrait

Los Angeles-based photographer and multifaceted artist Christine McConnell takes some really interesting images that place herself in multiple roles. Besides being behind the camera, McConnell also serves as the model, stylist, costume and set designer throughout much of her photography. Her keen eye for color and design aid in creating a cohesive scene in each shot that transports the viewer to another era.

Japanese Taxi Driver Takes Multiple Exposures While Looking for Passengers

Taxi driver Issui Enomoto captures unique multiple exposure photographs of Yokohama, Japan and its residents as he drives around at night looking for passengers. He always keeps his camera with him in his taxi so that he can shoot various scenes of the town as they strike him. For this series entitled Taxi in the Sea, Enomoto systematically layers his images of ghostly figures and artificial light in camera as his nights progress.
