Photographer Suffering From Postpartum Depression Uses Her Camera To Find Herself Again [Interview]

Postpartum depression, or PPD, is a type of depression that occurs after childbirth. Although common, it can be debilitating—something that Romanian photographer Felicia Simion experienced firsthand. She felt disconnected from nature and, thus, didn’t feel like herself. Being a creative person, she used her camera to forge those bonds yet again. Simion’s photographic project titled Rewired is informed by what she experienced when having severe PPD.

Photographer Explores Icebergs and Village Life on Greenland’s Iconic Disko Bay

It has been three years since photographer Albert Dros last visited Greenland, but the passage of time hasn't changed the country's beauty. Dros just came back from a month in Disko Bay, where he photographed red sailboats amidst icebergs, as well as the surrounding countryside. Astrophotographer Captures a Glimpse of the ISS Crossing the Sun From His Backyard

Astrophotographer Jamie Cooper has traveled the world looking for exceptional views of the stars. But he didn't have to travel far to capture something rare. From his backyard in Northamptonshire, England, he was able to photograph the International Space Station (ISS) transiting the Sun. Considering that the event lasted for less than a second, the image he produced is incredible.
