When we last checked in with Fabian Oefner, the Swiss artist was making a $2 million Lamborghini explode. Now he's working on a much smaller scale with his new series CutUp. Exploring the world of technical objects, Oefner is carefully slicing apart vintage still and video cameras. Each element is then arranged to show off the beauty of its mechanics and encased in clear resin to immortalize its industrial design for eternity.

Recycling Artist Sculpts 7 Giant Friendly Trolls to Take Over a Forest in Belgium

Danish recycling artist Thomas Dambo is known for his incredible outdoor sculptures that depict huge, mythical trolls. For his latest project, he was commissioned by Tomorrowland Festival to transform De Schorre park in Boom, Belgium into an enchanting forest that seven of his “friendly giants” have claimed as their home. The new installation of wooden sculptures is part of the 15th anniversary of the electronic festival as a gift to the local community.
