With spring's arrival and the outside world starting to bloom, we have compiled a series that celebrates the season marked by beautiful flowers popping up out of the ground. However, here's the trick (because it's also April Fool's Day): some of these are photographs of real plants, and some are actually paper creations that just look incredibly lifelike. Art is rooted in the imitation of nature, as artists struggle to recreate the vivid experience of life within their work. Sometimes, these creative replicas get very close to the real thing. So close, in fact, that it can be difficult to tell them apart. Have a glance through this collection of illusionary plant life and see if you can tell the imitation from the real thing.
