Gray Ombré Hair Trend Transforms Conventional Locks Into Striking Shades of Silver

The Mermaid hair trend might have people trading in their conventionally-colored locks for bright, ocean-inspired hues, but there’s another unique style that’s quickly gaining momentum: gray ombré hair. Wearers of this trend have the crowns of their heads dyed dark gray, and it gradually fades in tone as the color nears the ends of their mane.

This form of hair art is a take on the Granny-style trend, in which people dyed their hair an all-over artificial gray. Ombré takes it a step further with color, adding richness and depth to someone’s locks. There are other possibilities for dyeing, too—blues and purples are often incorporated to infuse a hint of vibrant color among the silver base.

What do you think of gray ombre hair? Would you ever try this silvery hair coloring?
