Voyeuristically Photographing New York City Apartments

You should consider always keeping your curtains closed if you are neighbors with photographer Gail Albert Halaban! Based in New York, the artist gets to know her neighbors by photographing the unsuspecting subjects through open and exposed apartment windows. At first, the project, Out My Window, seems a little bit invasive, but after reading a bit more, it turns out that she actually stages each photograph in order to evoke a sense of voyeurism.

Taiwain’s Breathtaking Rainbow Bridge

Sometimes mother nature has the ability to astonish us with its natural allure and other times we're left flabbergasted by constructed structures. However, perhaps most appealing are man-made designs that work with and beautifully complement nature. The Xiying Rainbow Bridge in Penghu, Taiwan is one such design that truly shines, both literally and figuratively. At night, this walkway transforms into more than your average overpass.

Though they first appear like impressionist paintings, you'd be surprised to find out that they're actually dozens of photographs of the same tree merged into one.
