Three-Panel Portraits of Strangers

How often do you allow a stranger to take your picture? Photographer Adde Adesokan approaches unknown people on the street and asks to photograph them. In fact, the Germany-based photographer has started a passion project called Triptychs of Strangers that also requires him to get to know his subjects. His short and concise mission statement reads: “meet strangers -?get to know them -?take three personality-matching body shots?-?make them one.

The Art of Meticulous Disassembly

Artist Todd McLellan has more patience than all of us combined. Meticulously taking apart classic objects such as a typewriter or flip clock, he breaks them down piece by piece and separates them into groups. After he places all the pieces onto a white background with all the parts laid out together, he produces exquisitely detailed images that display the inner mechanics behind the devices. But, the tireless artist did not stop there.

Fabulous Up-Themed Wedding!

Like many of us, Kelley and Edmund fell in love with the Disney Pixar movie Up. In fact, they were so in taken with the movie (and with each other) that they decided to have an Up-inspired wedding. Taking on many themes from the movie including the bright, cheery colors to the bowties and argyle socks, they made it all about the details.

Toyota Unveils Futuristic Smart Car

Toyota will be presenting the revolutionary “Fun VII” concept car at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. The car will be 13-ft-long and capable of holding three people, including the driver. What makes the Fun VII stand out the most, however, is its digitally customizable interior and exterior.
