Augmented Reality Navigation System – Wikitude

Never take your eyes off the road again! Wikitude is a new turn-by-turn navigation system for the Android platform that uses augmented reality. The system works by attaching your mobile phone on top of your dash looking at the road. The application then overlays video captured through the camera beside the route map. This allows users to literally drive through their phone, watching the road even while they are looking at directions.

How does a DVD rental store let everyone know that they also sell cinema books? With a well-executed ad campaign such as this. Created by ad agency BorghiErh/Lowe for 2001 Video, a movie rental store in Brazil, this print ad campaign made movies like ET, Jurassic Park and Singing in the Rain come alive through papercraft. Look closely at each image to read about each respective movie.
