Rendered in high detail, Smith has tackled everything from Flemish Baroque paintings to 1950s advertising. It's incredible work that shows just how many creative projects can be done by those with expertise in CSS. It's painstaking work, particularly when it comes to details like hair which requires Smith to type out each strand.

You’ve likely seen action figures depicting heroes from films, comic books, or TV shows, but California-based artist Dano Brown pays homage to the underdogs of modern media with his own range of plastic toy dolls. His series of Pop-Culture Sculptures celebrates fictional characters such as David Wooderson from Dazed and Confused and Walter Sobchak from The Big Lebowski by reimagining them as action figures.

Giant Fire-Breathing Dragon Operated by 17 People Roams the Streets of Calais

For most people, dragons only exist in fairytales or fantasy films, but for the people of Calais in France, a huge, fire-breathing beast roams their own streets. Don’t worry though—this particular dragon isn’t real. The mechanical Dragon of Calais (Le Dragon de Calais) was created by La Machine, a non-profit organization comprised of artists, technicians, and theater designers who work together to construct epic mechanical monsters.

Salvador Dalí’s Surreal Tarot Card Designs from 1984 Have Been Re-Released

Salvador Dalí is one of the most famous surrealist painters of the 20th century, but his artistic talent stretched far beyond his canvases. During his career, he designed wine cards, appeared on game shows, and even released his own eccentric cookbook. And during the early ‘70s, Dalí began working on his own illustrated deck of tarot cards intended for the James Bond film Live and Let Die.
