Will Cotton’s Mysteriously Beautiful Candyland

From the Mary Boone website:

A beautiful candyland that's good enough to eat? Why it must be a Will Cotton creation. Will Cotton is an American artist who's name is associated with cotton candy fairy tales. His work is currently showing at the Mary Boone Gallery in NYC, until March 28th, 2009 when it all dissolves away. Here are some of our favorites along with a few that will be hanging in the Mary Boone Gallery. The new series shows a darker side with ominous fog enveloping an Alpine valley. Cotton wanted to explore the ideas of excess and overconsumption in a world of desire, enticement and abundance.
