Indiaโ€™s Tiger Population Has Doubled Thanks To Active Wildlife Conservation

Tigers are arguably one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth. As an endangered species, there are several conservation groups that are working hard to maintain their survival. Luckily, a study published in January 2025 has revealed that India doubled its tiger population over the course of 12 years. According to Indiaโ€™s National Tiger Conservation Authority, the study maintains that the number of tigers in India went from 1,706 in 2010 to 3,682 in 2022.

Videographer Loses Camera in Vancouver Island Waters and Accidentally Films Stunning Humpback Whale Footage

Sometimes what we perceive as mistakes are actually blessings in disguise. This is what Vancouver Island-based underwater videographer Peter Mieras discovered when he lost his action camera in the oceanโ€”only to accidentally capture a breathtaking video of a humpback whale in the process. Mieras attached his Insta360 X4 camera to a fishing rod in the hopes of capturing interesting footage in the shallow waters near his home in Barkley Sound.
