Ji Lee Cleverly Turns Words into Images

Remember when we were kids and we used to see the fun in everything? Ji Lee tries to bring some of that magic back with his recently released book Word as Image. Started 20 years ago as an assignment in his typography class at art school, the project asks us to play right along with him and see if we can contort letters inside words to come up with some clever images ourselves.

Thousands of Plastic Figures Hold Up the Floor

One of the most exciting contemporary artists of our time, Korean Do Ho Suh, created this large sculptural installation that doesn't look like much until you come closer. Glass plates rest on thousands of multicolored miniature plastic figures who are crowded together with their heads and arms turned skyward. Together, they are holding the weight of the individual visitor who steps onto the floor.

Impressive Lego Sculpture of Albert Einstein

This past October, Legoland Florida opened to the public, targeting families with children ages 2 to 12. With about 50 million bricks used, it is the fifth and largest Legoland in the world with 50 attractions in 10 themed areas.

World’s Largest LEGO Christmas Tree

Standing more than 40 feet high at London's bustling St Pancras International Station is a Christmas tree made completely out of Lego bricks! Artist Duncan Titmarsh of Bright Bricks, the UK's only LEGO Certified Professional, with the help of local primary school students and members of a local Explorer Scouts unit, took more than two months to construct this amazing work of art which is made out of 600,000 Lego pieces.
