Japanese Outside In House

Designed by Japanese architecture firm Takeshi Hosaksa, this house in Yamanashi, Japan was designed for a family that wished for a gradual change from the outside to the inside. Named the Outside In House, the clients wanted the sounds of nature to slowly disappear as you walk further away from the entrance. An interesting aspect of the design includes a transparent wall on the south facade that can be slid open to the elements.

Astounding Real-Life Aquarium Sink

The Moody Aquarium Sink is a unique way to change a boring bathroom fixture into something spectacular. Sold through Opulent Items, this “living aquarium” sink has a top that can be removed for cleaning and rearranging, a filtration system, and two openings on the sides for feeding the fish. A light is found in the back part of the fixture which creates a calming glow.

Phlegm’s Castle Inside a Castle

If you've been a reader of My Modern Met for awhile now, this artist's comic book style should look very familiar to you. It's from none other than the UK-based street artist Phlegm. Never seeming to slow down, he recently created another piece in his signature style spotted in Sheffield England. Phlegm doesn't work solely in England, though.
