Tallest Building in Asia: Seoul, South Korea

Designed by international architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox, Lotte Super Tower 123 will be the tallest building in Asia, and the world's second tallest after the Burj Dubai. The super skyscraper will serve as Lotte's new corporate headquarters and will be built by Lotte Construction, a subsidiary of the group. Lotte Super Tower 123 will be located close to a key transportation hub near the Han River, efficiently bringing in commuters as well as tourists.

Modern Architecture – Museum of Image and Sound: Rio de Janeiro

I'm really diggin' the facade of this recently awarded building designed by American architecture firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro. Located In the middle of one of the most iconic places in Rio de Janeiro, the Avenida Atlantica at Copacabana, the new Museum of Image and Sound will feature exhibitions rooms, facilities for research, a panoramic restaurant, and an open-air auditorium. The 48,500 square foot (4,500 sq m)

The Culture Bazaar: Beirut, Lebanon

Although it didn't win the international competition to design Lebanon's new “House Of Arts And Culture” in Beirut, this structure by Copenhagen-based JAJA Architects is quite stunning. The “Culture Bazaar” is a project that aims to dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, thus creating a space for open exchange of art, culture and ideas. I personally like the modern look on the exterior of the building. It gives off a really classy vibe.

Modern Architecture – BMW Museum: Munich

Many of us love and admire the sleek, sexy style, and first-class performance of BMW's. Consistent with their cars, the BMW Museum in Munich, Germany looks pretty spectacular. Through innovative technology and design, the museum takes new approaches to intertwine modern architecture, rad cars, and interactive media. Designed by Atelier Bruecknen, the new museum opened on June 21st, 2008.
