The Culture Bazaar: Beirut, Lebanon

Although it didn't win the international competition to design Lebanon's new “House Of Arts And Culture” in Beirut, this structure by Copenhagen-based JAJA Architects is quite stunning. The “Culture Bazaar” is a project that aims to dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, thus creating a space for open exchange of art, culture and ideas. I personally like the modern look on the exterior of the building. It gives off a really classy vibe. The facade is combination of form, structure, light and shadow that merges together to create a unified identity.
