Paper Haussmann Buildings Capture the Charming Details of Parisian Architecture

Paris-based “paper designer” Camille Ortoli creates intricate installations that capture the chic side of paper-crafting. In addition to haute couture commissions and other commercial work, Ortoli also focuses on personal projects, including her stunning series of paper Haussmann buildings. Each splendid model features the characteristic elements of this architectural style: distinctive mansard roofs, decorative reliefs and molding, and rows of windows with exquisitely-crafted balconies.

Photographer Captures the Hypnotic Symmetry of Vienna’s Architecture

Now, with his new series Viennametry, he's moved to the Austrian capital, giving new perspectives on the geometry of the city's architecture. Taiwan Might Get a Completely Pink Museum Park Inspired by Peach Tree Blossoms

Dutch architecture studio MVRDV, in collaboration with JJP Architects & Planners, have unveiled their stunning vision for a new art museum in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Placing third in an international competition, the design was inspired by Taoyuan's history as the “city of the peach.” In over 29,000 square meters (300,000 square feet), the sprawling complex is comprised of different sections to give new value to the landscape, including a nearby river.
