Former Dutch Prison Transformed Into a Luxury Hotel

Het Arresthuis is a 19th-century-prison turned luxury hotel in the Netherlands. The newly repurposed jailhouse has been completely redesigned with chic, spacious, modern motifs while maintaining its rich history as a former penitentiary. The building's new function invites visitors to take advantage of the hotel's unique Deluxe and Comfort suites while indulging in the venue's relaxing amenities–a sauna and a fitness center. Doing time never sounded so good!

Mumbai’s Gorgeous New Namaste Tower

Mumbai, India is about to unveil a gorgeous new skyscraper to the world. Designed by Atkins Design Studio for W Hotel, the Namaste Tower aims to become a landmark structure, representing the burgeoning economic and cultural significance of India. The 62-story, 984-sq-ft tall building, which is currently under construction, will include a hotel, office and retail space.

Amazing Stage Filled With Gigantic Fairy Tale Books

Tokyo’s Modern Transparent House

One of these houses is not like the others. This house in Tokyo by Sou Fujimoto Architects, known as House NA, stands out with its modern and transparent style. The building is unlike its neighboring houses in its appearance and structure. The interior of the residence has hardly any walls. The house boasts large glass windows for plenty of daylight, but the downside seems to be a lack of privacy.
